No Way!

Here I am, once again, mouth wide open and speechless at what the Lord has done!
So, as you know, we, at the Crocker house, are out of our mind excited over the start of a new school year...no one more than Grace Crocker, our girl who LOVES school!
Today was the big day...Meet the Teacher. We had already met her Special Needs teacher, Brown, who was all over an earlier blog, topped off by Lott, Grace's new assistant who used to be MY assistant when I taught at Cambridge (down the hall, might I add from Grace's new classroom) the year I became pregnant with Grace. Are you seeing a little bit of the goodness of God here?!

Anyways, we were able to go earlier than the rest of the big group today, thanks to Brown looking out for Miss Grace, who might have been a little overwhelmed by the hundreds of families that poured into Cambridge tonight. That went well, for the most part, aside from Grace becoming obsessed with her new teachers iPhone, which she of course could not have (that was fun:)

SO, I wanted for us to also go tonight to see and maybe meet some of her classmates.
Let me back up a brief moment. Yes, the teacher and Cambridge connections have been amazing, but we have been really sad cuz most of the sweet friends and moms that really reached out to Grace and that our family is already friends with are going to Woodridge, the other elementary school.

Yep, unbelievable...we walk into Grace's typically developing 1st Grade classroom and who do we see?! The one sweet sweet girl and mom from kindergarten that we knew was coming to Cambridge (who is friends with our other kinder friends) and YES, she is IN Grace's classroom! And, yes, I of course tear up big time, almost to the embarrassing point.

So, I hit the pillow tonight, giddy and fired up with a Christmas eve and morning excitement all over me!

Thank you Lord for showing up, once again! Why do I ever doubt you?! Thank you thank you for being so sweet!
